

The USCCA Concelaed Carry and Home Defense course is designed to teach the student the basics of concealed carry and home defense. Topics include: developing a personal and home protection plan; self-defense firearms basics; shooting fundamentals; the legal use of force; violent encounters and their aftermath; basic and advanced shooting skills; and reviews gear associated with all of the above. This course is designed for the new, novice, or experienced shooter.
Classes are usually held over the course of one 8-hour day. Typically 4-5 hours of that time spent is in the classroom.The remaining time is spent on the range applying skills learned.
This course meets the Mississippi state standards for the students to be able to add Enhanced Carry to their current or future Concealed Carry permit.
